In early April 1969, this production was originally noted in some newspaper as a touring company. However, the engagement dates and casting seem to sporadic to qualify as a true tour, possibly due to the controversy surrounding the show despite its success. The production was originally only scheduled at the Wilbur for three weeks, but was extended until the end of June when it transferred to Washington, DC. for a month. The production then went dark for two months before picking up again in Philadelphia in mid-October with three cast changes. Due to the cast changes and gap between, I'm adding Philadelphia as a separate production.
